Accelerometer Drone Controller

This project comprised building a drone controller using two schemes: hand signs and accelerometer-based sensing. It was also my first exposure to microcontroller programming. I’d also only done Python from tutorials and books by this point so making something physical that worked was a new concept. Getting the whole chain of sensor -> Arduino processing -> Bluetooth -> drone control to work decently was also pretty challenging. Additionally, it took me three fried MPU6050 IMUs to realize that those sensors required 3.3V and not 5V. “You live you learn” I guess.
